Navigation Reimbursement Resources

In November 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that announces finalized policy changes for Medicare payments under the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS), which includes paying for principal illness navigation services. In addition, the American Medical Association announced Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding for reporting for oncology navigation services. Learn more here.

Georgia may have been singing her sweet song, but navigation was on the attendees' minds at the AONN+ Midyear Conference (sorry, Mr Charles).

Over 4 days in mid-May, more than 500 nurse and patient navigators gathered in person at the Loews Atlanta or tuned in remotely to learn from experts in oncology and navigation and hear from exhibitors about the latest innovations available to help them enhance patient care.
