Mission
The mission of the Survivorship Committee is to advance survivorship care throughout the continuum by providing resources and evidence-based education to oncology navigators.
Highlights
- Published Survivorship Committee updates for JONS
- Developed multiple sessions with objectives for Annual Conference, including sexuality, and partnered with Ulman Foundation for AYA session
- Hosted a 3-part, Phases of Survivorship webinar series
- Ongoing (throughout 2025) Survivorship Survey to gauge AONN+ knowledge gaps, understanding and desire for education
Goals
- Focus on new and emerging fields and their relationship and impact on Survivorship care, ex. AI
- Survey membership regarding survivorship needs in lieu of new CoC survivorship standards
- Focus on LGBTQ survivorship care
- Collaborate with the other AONN+ committees
- Continue to submit conference topic sessions for mid-year/annual conferences
