Mission
The mission of the Genetics and Genomics Committee is to empower and engage oncology nurses and patient navigators to play a role in linking patients and personalized medicine, with the ultimate goal of increasing access to genetic information for the purpose of shared decision-making.
Goals
- Collaborate with the other AONN+ committees
- Host preconference conference session on genetics/genomics at Midyear or Annual Conference
- Present at least one more joint AONN+/NSGC webinar
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and industry partners to further develop the BRIDGE program
- Publish at least one article in JONS
