November brought several exciting opportunities for members of our AONN+ leadership. Here is a roundup of their activities from the past month.

Oncology navigators play a crucial role in boosting clinical trial enrollment within their organizations. Recognizing this, AONN+ launched its Clinical Trials Committee in 2022.

We recently spoke with the committee’s Co-Chairs, Mary Salazar, DNP, MSN, RN, ANP-BC, and Mary Visceglia, RN, BSN, OCN, MMCi, about the committee’s achievements, future plans, and membership needs. Here are some highlights from that conversation.
AONN+’s National Alliance Partnerships have allowed the association to expand our reach and audience and bring new resources to our members. One of these partners is the Brain Tumor Network, an organization providing individualized navigation to help patients and loved ones manage a primary brain tumor diagnosis, overcome treatment obstacles, and facilitate access to quality healthcare.
